Love Covers All Prison Ministry

The goal of the Love Covers All Prison Ministry Volunteer Program is ultimately soul winning and to assist the facility in changing the attitudes and actions of those who will be released into our communities by sharing the gospel and truth as it is in Jesus Christ.

Our vision is based on Isaiah 61:1 “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.”

Our mission is Isaiah 42:7 & Matthew 28:19

“To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison-house.” (Because Jesus commanded us to…)

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

We call the Jester 1 facility where we meet a revolving door prison because it is a 9-month program where the inmate may be serving a part of his sentence and will be moving to another prison, or the last part of his sentence and is about to be released into the free world. We believe God has placed us here because we are able to touch many more lives than we would in a long-term facility.
